Montreal, June 20, 2018 – Yesterday, June 19, 2018, Louis Vincent, President of the Board of Directors and Renaud Judic, Association Life Coordinator, accompanied Ms. Mireille Deyglun and her daughter Sophie to pay tribute to Mrs. Janine Sutto at the National Assembly in Quebec.
The tribute was given as part of the “Prix à part entière” ceremony, which showcases a person or organization that helps to increase the social participation of people with disabilities.
This tribute was attended by many dignitaries, including Honorary President Lucie Charlebois, Minister Responsible for Rehabilitation, Youth Protection, Public Health and Healthy Living and Minister responsible for the Montérégie region, as well as Stéphane Laporte, spokesman for the Prix.
During her testimony, Ms. Deyglun highlighted her mother’s contribution to the development of the social participation of people with intellectual disabilities and her support of the MAIH for more than 40 years.
Many thanks to Mireille Deyglun and her daughter who continue to support our organization.
Since 1935, the MAIH has provided services that meet the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. Our mission is to promote the social participation of adults living with intellectual disabilities and to provide support services to families in the exercise of their responsibilities.
