Janine-Sutto Award, opening of the call for candidates for the 2020 edition!

You are an artist living with an intellectual disability (with or without ASD), over 18 years old and living on the Island of Montreal? This contest is for you !

The purpose of the Janine Sutto Award is to underscore the contribution of art, in all its forms, as a tool for raising awareness and encouraging the inclusion of people living with an intellectual disability, with or without an ASD. The awards are designed to officially value and recognize the artistic projects (for example, artwork, dance or song) of these individuals, and thus to promote a positive image of differences.

The Janine-Sutto Awards will take place during September as part of the season launch of the Maison de la Culture Janine-Sutto, partner of the competition. The date will be announced later.
