On June 10, the AMDI held its 91st Annual General Meeting, bringing together members, partners, volunteers, and staff.
The meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on a year filled with meaningful achievements and impactful initiatives that promote self-determination, inclusion, and social participation for adults with intellectual disabilities.
One of the evening’s highlights was the presentation of our 2026–2030 Strategic Plan by two of our members with intellectual disabilities. Their participation powerfully reflected the values that guide our organization: giving a voice to the people we support, recognizing their expertise, and placing them at the heart of the decisions that affect them. It was an authentic and inspiring moment, warmly received by everyone in attendance.
