On January 30, 2024, the 42nd edition of our Janine Sutto Theatre Evening was held at Place des Arts Théâtre Duceppe to benefit MAIH’s Intergénération’Ailes housing project.
Nearly 400 guests attended the event. This unforgettable evening proved to be a great success, raising $126,000 for our large-scale housing project for people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
Chimerica, a play by Lucie Kirkwood and directed by Charles Dauphinais, told the fascinating story of the complex relationship between China and the United States over the past three decades. The actors’ performances and the play’s breathtaking staging dazzled and transported the audience. The show closed to rapturous applause.
Some guests were treated to a convivial pre-show cocktail.
The performance was followed by a tasting of mignardises and sparkling wine. This special moment full of sparkling wine and chocolate was also rich in interesting discussions!
